Beypore Tourism Project that helps to make the town of beyporewhich is a well prominent port and a major fishing harbour. This town as Tipu Sultan once fondly called 'Sultan Pattanam' is a prominent town of Calicut rich in its history. To bring back its shine and glory, the design made to revamp Beypore on its forefront is highly made in to make people enjoy the rich culture of the town.

 This project aims to create a public place which is well-used and well-loved, comfortable, varied and attractive. A place which bring in a sense of local ownership and in turn give back to the  society. Beypore as a locality, is also very distinctive, and offer variety in choice and fun.Vibrant places offer opportunities for meeting people, playing in the street and watching the world go by.

 

The visualization of " THE CURVED WALL"caters to other local amenities ,providing for the essential needs of people, both local and visitors. It also act as a cater to a safer environment, as part of the disaster management system.

Facilities.

The project makes Beypore seashore to be easily accessible and allows public to get integrated physically and visually with the surroundings. The vision helps to strike a balance between the natural and man made environment by Utilizing the rich and intrinsic resources of Beypore. The project is flexible enough to respond to future changes in use,lifestyle and demography.

Beypore Marina can be the new face of the town and act as a cohesive solution to address all these needs to an iconic tourist destination with an international appeal. The Design avails to re-interpret the space as a futuristic tourist centre , and create a landmark, To develop the marina as river tourism along with the livelihood programme.
