The main house features traditional Kerala materials such as wood,and sloping tiled roofs. The architecture incorporates elements like wooden pillars, intricate carvings, and large windows with wooden frames. The layout is designed to maximize views of the lake while ensuring cross ventilation and natural light.
Schematic Design
The house, with a modern touch of cement finishing, provide a striking contrast to the traditional residence. The clean lines and minimalist design of the cement finish create a contemporary aesthetic. The landscape surrounding the residence is thoughtfully designed to maintain a connection with nature. Traditional Kerala plants and trees, such as coconut palms and banana plants, arey placed to provide shade and enhance the overall aesthetic. Stone pathways lead to the lake, creating a seamless transition between the built environment and the natural surroundings.
